Marty Friedman - Dragon's Kiss (1988)

Acá les dejo un gran disco solista de uno de mis guitarrisas favoritos. Este disco tiene un sonido que hace acordar a los años 80, jajaja, pero tiene unas melodías que te parten al medio. Suena muy neoclásico, con mucha fuerza y contundencia. Escúchenlo, se los recomiendo 110%. Jason Becker también ayudó con los temas, un grande! Mis temas favoritos: Jewel y Thunder March.

Michael Angelo - No Boundaries

Dificil de explicar, pero este tipo aún no me termina de convencer, pero es imposible negar su técnica,
profesionalismo y todo ese feeling que transmite con su guitarra; son cosas que debo reconocer, pero
aún no le encuentro la originalidad; muchas veces me recuerda a Petrucci sobre todo con el tema Rain Forest (eso si, que es un buenisimo tema).
Otras veces un poco a Steve Vai en temas como "I do for you", pero luego esas imagenes desaparecen.
Por eso les dije que al principio era un poco dificil de explicar.
Pero bueno que el caso es que hay gente a la cual le gusta este disco, y bueno a los que no lo conocen
y les gustan las guitarras descargenlo que de este tipo pueden aprender mucho jejeje.

Presentaciones

Metaleros y metaleras!

Esto es tipo para contar un poco lo que sería la idea de este blog.
Resulta que me tiene re podrido pila de la música que hay por acá hoy en día, y resulta que voy a hacer esto a ver si la poca gente que encara algo de gustos musicales se prende a algo bueno.

Voy a ir actualizando cada tanto la página con links interesantes, alguna que otra noticia que valga la pena, y también con algo de material multimedia, con música compuesta por mi y también con links hacia música y videos de algún otro lugar.

Les cuento que soy guitarrista, de 24 años. Hasta hace poco estaba tocando en una banda llamada "Mama Kin", cuyos vínculos están abajo en la parte de links, pero una macana que se disolviera (pueden igual visitar los links). Ahora estoy montando proyectos con ex-integrantes de la formación: una banda semi-instrumental con Juan Pablo (violero), y una banda de covers con "El Animal" (batero y ¿cantante? ;) ). Ni bien hayan noticias de esto, les haré saber! Aún no hay nombres para ninguno de los dos proyectos.

También tengo el gustaso de tocar con un maestro de la guitarra como lo es Hugo Balbi (http://www.myspace.com/hugoguitar) en una banda que estamos sacando junto con Steel Hawk en la bata, Mario en el bajo, y Martín en la voz. Aún estamos en arreglos para continuar con los ensayos y preparar algún toque a la brevedad. Nuestro repertorio hasta el momento es:

• "Corte Porteño" de Walter Giardino
• "Traidor" de Lörihen
• "Exterminio" tema de la banda

A su vez estábamos en vías de sacar "Bajo El Poder Del Sol" de Rata Blanca (una de mis bandas preferidas).

En lo que respecta a mi estilo, me gusta tirarme hacia el metal neoclásico y heavy. Por supuesto que no es lo único que me gusta, y entre mis ídolos musicales tenemos:

• Jason Becker - un maestro total, técnica y musicalmente. Es una injusticia lo que le pasó.
• Marty Friedman - su estilo exótico te puede partir la zabeca. Uno de los mejores dúos que existieron: Becker-Friedman.
• Axl Rose - un capo para componer temas con fuerza y grandes melodías. Una cagada que los Guns se separaran de la formación del appettite y use your illusion, pero tá.
• Slash - otro capo, con un estilo fenomenal, gran técnica para sus solos, le agrega un toque distintivo a los temas de los Guns y Velvet Revolver.
• Kurt Cobain - digno de admirar también, muestra que el talento no solo pasa por ser un virtuoso, sino que incluso con poco se puede hacer mucho.
• Yngwie Malmsteen - creador oficial del metal neoclásico. Eso lo dice todo!

Espero que ustedes metaleros y metaleras comenten y digan que les parece.

Hola gente!
Este es la primera entrada de mi primer blog.
Los saludo primero en una buena y les digo que este blog está hecho para todos ustedes amantes del metal y hard rock y demás estilos pesados de música, que aún conservan el toque interesante de música melódica, que suena a algo más que puro ruido pero conservando la fuerza!
